Quick Facts: Kenny Tapp and I shot video of 31 seperate and distinct tornadoes during the spring of 2004. Footage shot June 12 of the Mulvane Kansas tornado was aired nation wide on NBC's Today Show. While chasing in Nebraska, we witnessed 3 tornadoes on the ground at the same time. A few tornadoes we filmed in southern Kansas were on the ground for more than 30 minutes. During the course of the season, we oberseved large lightning illuminated tornadoes, mile wide wedge tornadoes, spectacular supercell thunderstorm structure, and severe wind and hailstorms.
