Warner Springs: July 25, 2007

 

 

Convection fires near the Warner Springs Gliderport (actually from the previous day).

 

The initial stages of thunderstorm development over Hot Springs Mountain.

 

An eruption of towering cumulus.

 

A glider heads for the convection.

 

Thunderstorms beginning to fire in the distance over the Riverside County Mountains.

 

Clouds continue to build in the afternoon heat.

 

Gliders continue to flirt with the building cumulus towers.
