Balboa Park & Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery

Spent the afternoon with Nicole at Balboa Park, and yes, I even managed to snap off a few photos. Afterward we went to dinner on Shelter Island before driving up to Point Loma for some moonrise shots of downtown San Diego from across the bay... mother nature had other plans however. It seems that the offshore flow was not quite strong enough yet to keep the marine layer at bay. Dense fog rolled in around sunset and obscured our view of the city. The fog & full moon made for some really neat night shots of the Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery. The fog was so heavy and thick that everything outside was drenched, and rain was falling from the leaves of every tree. A few photos from the evening are posted below. Enjoy!
